Hey Everyone! Yesterday was a huge success and it was so wonderful meeting all of you! Stay tuned because at the end of the day today I will be announcing the winner for the $500 drawing towards any package!!!! I am just laughing because usually at every other bridal fair I have done, we go through bags and bags of candy. This year we were beside The Peabody who gave away samples of their unbelievable cakes! Then, in front of us was the Haute Chocolatier Ladies with their fountains of milk chocolate and blue (white) chocolate! So, needless to say, no one wanted our miniature snickers or dove milk chocolates that we had on our table….

Hey. So, I have my first bridal fair of 2009 tomorrow. I need to create a slideshow for it still and print up my new pricing info. Mike, if you read this, I did raise my prices quite a bit. You would be proud. 

Anyway, I found out that LOVE AFFAIR is at the end of July this year which makes me super happy because I can go! I have been dying to go to this since it started and I finally can work it into my schedule. Hadley’s bday is the day after I get back so that will be a little stressful.

Well, thats all for now. You should be happy that I am even writing again. This makes two times in one week……

Hello everyone. My apologies on taking so long to write. I am super busy with the bridal fair coming up this weekend. That and planning for Vegas in February to go too WPPI. For those of you that remember, last year I attempted to go to WPPI and I got stuck in Houston. It was just like the movie Terminal with Tom Hanks. I was stuck there for three days. 

So, I was just sitting here thinking about how blessed I am to have the career that I have. How many people get to wake up everyday and feel like they are doing what they are called to do? Not many. I mean, on a busy day, I still get to work on images which is what I love. Sometimes it is a struggle when Hadley needs more of my time than I am willing to give her. But even then, I just have to remember that ultimately she comes before my work so she wins.

New Years Resolution Time…. So, I haven’t set any specific goals yet. I know its like half way through January but you have to start sometime. Now is just as good as any. I guess I will make a list:

1. I would like to spend more time (or even just time) with God every day. This may come easy to a lot of you but it is very hard  for me. I get so caught up in my own stuff that I forget to take time out for Him…. 

2. I want to go to the gym on a regular basis. Not just a random week or two but consistently. 

3. I want to have one day a week where I spend the entire day with Hadley. Yes, I know I stay at home with her every day but that doesn’t necessarily mean I give her my full attention….

4. I want to encourage Josh more. Not that I put him down or anything. I just know that is his love language and I don’t do it often enough.

5. And last but not least…. I want to get more organized. Organized with my life, my office, my priorities….. That is all for now.

Today is my sister-in-law’s bday. We are having a super fun game night tonight to celebrate. This year has completely flown by. It was a year ago today that my Dad passed away.  A lot has happened since then. I just can’t believe its already June. Anyway, with Ash’s bday today, Josh’s bday Sunday, then Carson’s then mine, then Hadley’s…  I feel l should say Happy Birthday to everyone! So there I said it. Peace out.

So this last week has completely worn me out. From the car accident with MPG friends to the volunteering I did and then the wedding I had Saturday… the funeral yesterday… I am beat. The wedding was beautiful and I had a blast photographing it. I am just super behind. So, with that said, if you are waiting to see images bare with me cause I am working on it. Have a great day!
